Top 5 Songs With Really Long Titles
No way! This is too hard. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I now wish I knew something about country music 'cause I bet there are a lot of stupid long song titles in country.
That's all I've got to say about that. Here we go...
1) In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly (Is that long? Do I need to go longer?)
2) Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? by Chiacago (Is that one better? I'll try another.)
3) I'm Just a Singer in a Rock & Roll Band. (How'm I doing?)
4) Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. (Okay, that one's not that long, but it's stuck in my head, so I'm keeping it in the hope that typing it will clear it out!)
5) You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go by Bob Dylan (That one's pretty long, y'gotta admit.)
Okay, Smart One! You try it. What's the longest one you can come up with? And no fair doing medley stuff like I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home. That's supposed to be two song titles. Go!
READER'S CHOICE
A local radio station posted their listener's choice for Top 50 Rock Songs ever. (As in EVER!!) It's a good list, but not the top 50 EVER. No way!
So, I think I'm going to do my own reader's poll. Start with that same list, take off 5 songs and add 5 of your own. Which would you remove and which ones do you think would be better choices? Just for fun!

I like your Top 5, only In-A-Gadda seems like it should be one of the longest songs, too. (and it sure did get old...my AM station would sign off with it every night when I was a kid!)
Your idea for the Top 50 Rock songs is cool. I will try to play along later! I see a few I'd remove, including "The House Of The Rising Sun." I always hated that one.

As for the list of top Rock songs, I could possibly, if I really had to, choose 5 from their list to keep for my list.
but I'm a bit of a musical snob....
