I like your Top 5, only In-A-Gadda seems like it should be one of the longest songs, too. (and it sure did get old...my AM station would sign off with it every night when I was a kid!)

Your idea for the Top 50 Rock songs is cool. I will try to play along later! I see a few I'd remove, including "The House Of The Rising Sun." I always hated that one.

Lord Mhoram

Cool list

And while my list is at my blog - one song from a classic rock band that really fits the long title -

Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict - Pink Floyd. :)

that girl

have a fab day!

Scott

Good list - my choices are up over at my blog

As for the list of top Rock songs, I could possibly, if I really had to, choose 5 from their list to keep for my list.

I'll try later with the top 50 list, but right off the top of my groggy head (I just got up...gig last night!), I've thought of a long song title....
"The Night the Carousel Burned Down" by Todd Rundgren.

Mr. New Dilemma

Oh my god , I just picked up on that first paragraph. Crazy!

Mr. New Dilemma

oh, and for long song title, how about:
You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison - My Chemical Romance
